Whether designing apps for sports ranking, analyzing recent insurgencies around the world, studying ancient civilizations in Mexico or Greece, or constructing bacterial computers, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ faculty are solving important problems, developing useful tools, and contributing to our understanding of the world.

In the past five years, faculty supported their research with $11.1 million in funding from federal, state, and private funding agencies. Funding allows faculty members to purchase scientific equipment, travel to distant research sites, provide research fellowships for ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ undergraduates, and support curricular and pedagogical innovation.
