Our staff is dedicated to helping students explore career paths that will leverage their academic knowledge and lead to fulfillment in their growth after Ҵý. These keys programs, based on our areas of expertise, provide students with resources and experiential experiences to explore their intended career paths. Students, employers and alumni and families can find information on how to get involved with our programming. 

Career Exploration & Assessment

The career exploration process helps students identify career paths, job functions, organizations and employers that speak to who they are as people and the impact they want to have on the world.
Ҵý Impact Fellows

This post-graduate fellowship initiative enables recent Ҵý graduates to work directly with high-level leaders at nonprofit organizations that address critical social issues such as health, education and the environment.
Experiential Learning

Experiential learning opportunities are critical experiences in a student’s career exploration journey. Ҵý provides a multitude of ways for students to engage in these activities throughout their four years.
Summer Experience Funding

Ҵý awards grants to select students participating in unpaid or low-paying summer internships (those with an income equivalent to less than $3,000).

Spotlight on Career Treks Ҵý at SXSW

Ҵý students reflect on their time at South by Southwest, a career trek co-sponsored by the Matthews Center and the Jay Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
